अपि चाह ं पुरा विप्रैर्वर्जितो गर्हितो वसे । परोपसेवां पापिष्ठां न च कुर्या धनेप्सया

Transliteration

api cāhaṃ purā viprair varjito garhito vase | paropasevāṃ pāpiṣṭhāṃ na ca kuryā dhanepsayā ||

Translation

ମୁଁ ମଧ୍ୟ ପୂର୍ବେ ବ୍ରାହ୍ମଣମାନଙ୍କ ଦ୍ୱାରା ବର୍ଜିତ ଓ ଗର୍ହିତ ହୋଇ ବସିଛି; କିନ୍ତୁ ଧନଲୋଭରେ ପରୋପସେବା—ଏହି ସର୍ବାଧିକ ପାପମୟ ଦାସତ୍ୱ—ମୁଁ କରିବି ନାହିଁ।
