वैशम्पायन उवाच
Prosperity is portrayed as a dhārmic outcome of good order: public infrastructure (wells, reservoirs, halls), cultivated spaces (groves), and the support of brāhmaṇas (learning and ritual life) together indicate a well-governed realm where communal joy (festivals) naturally flourishes.
The narrator describes the condition of a particular kingdom as richly endowed—its water sources, public spaces, and brāhmaṇa households are thriving—and notes that celebrations occur continually, emphasizing stability and abundance in the land.
