यदस्त्रं वेद रामश्न तदेतस्मिन् प्रतिष्ठितम् । महेष्वासमिमं राजन् राजधर्मार्थकोविदम्
yad astraṃ veda rāmaśna tad etasmin pratiṣṭhitam | maheṣvāsam imaṃ rājan rājadharmārthakovidam ||
ବୈଶମ୍ପାୟନ କହିଲେ—ହେ ରାଜନ୍! ରାମଶ୍ନ ଯେଉଁ ଅସ୍ତ୍ରବିଦ୍ୟା ଜାଣେ, ସେ ସବୁ ଏହି ପୁରୁଷରେ ଦୃଢ଼ଭାବେ ପ୍ରତିଷ୍ଠିତ। ଏହି ମହାଧନୁର୍ଧରଙ୍କୁ ଦେଖ—ଯିଏ ରାଜଧର୍ମର ସିଦ୍ଧାନ୍ତ ଓ ପ୍ରୟୋଜନରେ କୁଶଳ।
वैशम्पायन उवाच
True excellence in a ruler-warrior is not merely mastery of weapons (astra-vidyā) but also competence in rājadharma and artha—ethical governance joined with practical statecraft.
Vaiśampāyana is praising a particular person before the king, stating that all the weapon-knowledge known by Rāmaśna is present in him, and highlighting him as a great archer who also understands the duties and aims of kingship.
