गुरुश्च रन्तिदेवश्च सङ्कृते: पाण्डुनन्दन । रन्तिदेवस्य महिमा इहामुत्र च गीयते ॥ २ ॥
guruś ca rantidevaś ca saṅkṛteḥ pāṇḍu-nandana rantidevasya mahimā ihāmutra ca gīyate
ହେ ପାଣ୍ଡୁନନ୍ଦନ ପରୀକ୍ଷିତ! ସଙ୍କୃତିଙ୍କ ଦୁଇ ପୁତ୍ର—ଗୁରୁ ଓ ରନ୍ତିଦେବ। ରନ୍ତିଦେବଙ୍କ ମହିମା ଇହଲୋକ ଓ ପରଲୋକ ଉଭୟେ ଗାଯାଯାଏ; ମନୁଷ୍ୟମାନଙ୍କ ମଧ୍ୟରେ ମାତ୍ର ନୁହେଁ, ଦେବମାନଙ୍କ ମଧ୍ୟରେ ମଧ୍ୟ ତାଙ୍କ ଯଶ ଗୀତ।
