देवदेव उवाच तस्यां तपत्यां नरसत्तमेन जातः सुतः पार्थिवलक्षणस्तु स जातकर्मादिभिरेव संस्कृतो विवर्द्धताज्येन हुतो यथाग्निः
devadeva uvāca tasyāṃ tapatyāṃ narasattamena jātaḥ sutaḥ pārthivalakṣaṇastu sa jātakarmādibhireva saṃskṛto vivarddhatājyena huto yathāgniḥ
ဒေဝဒေဝက မိန့်တော်မူသည်– ထို တပတီ၌ လူတို့အထဲ အကောင်းဆုံးသူကြောင့် မင်းသားလက္ခဏာများပါသော သားတစ်ဦး မွေးဖွားလာ하였다။ သူသည် jāta-karma စသည့် မွေးဖွားပွဲအခမ်းအနားများဖြင့် ထုံးတမ်းအတိုင်း သန့်စင်ပြုလုပ်ခံရပြီး၊ ဂီ (ghee) ပိုမိုထည့်၍ မီးတောက်ကြီးထွားသကဲ့သို့ ကြီးပွားလာ하였다။
