आसीद् दण्डो नाम नृपः प्रभूतबलवाहनः स च वव्रे महातेजाः पौरोहित्याय भार्गवम्

āsīd daṇḍo nāma nṛpaḥ prabhūtabalavāhanaḥ sa ca vavre mahātejāḥ paurohityāya bhārgavam

ဒဏ္ဍ (Daṇḍa) ဟူသော ဘုရင်တစ်ပါး ရှိခဲ့၏။ သူသည် အင်အားနှင့် စစ်တပ်ယာဉ်များ အလွန်ပေါများသူ ဖြစ်သည်။ ထိုတန်ခိုးကြီးသောသူသည် ဘာရ္ဂဝ (Bhārgava) ကို မိမိ၏ ပုရောဟိတ် (purohita) အဖြစ် ရွေးချယ်ခဲ့သည်။
