Suta Goswami (narrating the Kailasha Samhita teaching to the sages, conveying Shiva-centered Advaita-jñāna)
Tattva Level: pati
Shiva Form: Īśāna
Type: stotra
Role: teaching
It declares that true liberating knowledge is freedom from raga and other impurities, and that Shiva is the very essence of the Vedas; thus, non-dual wisdom centered on Shiva leads toward moksha.
The verse frames Shiva as the Veda-essence and the ultimate goal; in practice, devotees approach this truth through Saguna worship—especially Linga-puja—purifying attachment and ripening into Shiva-centered jnana.
Cultivate detachment (vairagya) and contemplate Shiva as the Veda-essence; support this with daily Linga worship and japa of the Panchakshara mantra “Om Namah Shivaya” to steady the mind in non-dual awareness.
