FAQs

This is a chapter-colophon that seals the teaching: realization of Śiva-tattva (non-dual wisdom centered on Shiva as the Supreme Pati) is presented together with the account of creation, showing that the cosmos is understood correctly only when grounded in Shiva-knowledge and liberation-oriented insight.

By naming “Śiva’s non-dual knowledge” alongside creation, the text frames Saguna worship (Linga, mantra, devotion) as a valid and purifying approach that culminates in right knowledge of Shiva’s supreme reality—devotion and doctrine are not opposed but integrated.

While the verse itself is a colophon, its theme points to jñāna supported by Shaiva sādhanā—steady japa of the Panchākṣarī (Om Namaḥ Śivāya), contemplative inquiry into Shiva as Pati, and disciplined worship (pujā/abhisheka) aimed at moksha.
