As a pillar (is firm), so do I celebrate thee, Indra, the thunderer, bright-weaponed, of manifold might, the bull, steadfast in exploit: thou makest the worshipper, the Arya who serves thee, to prevail; thee, the splendid, the slayer of Vṛtra, I praise.
