vinaṣṭaḥ paśyatas tasyārakṣiṇaḥ śaraṇāgataḥ | ādāya sukṛtaṃ tasya sarvaṃ gacched arakṣitaḥ || 6.18.29 ||

အကာအကွယ်တောင်းလာသူသည် မကာကွယ်ခံရဘဲ မိမိမျက်စိရှေ့၌ပင် ပျက်စီးသွားလျှင် ကာကွယ်သူအဖြစ် မလုပ်နိုင်သူသည် အရှက်ကွဲ၍ ပျက်စီးရ၏။ ထိုမကာကွယ်ခံရသူသည်လည်း သူ၏ ကုသိုလ်အကုန်လုံးကို ယူဆောင်ကာ ထွက်ခွာသွား၏။
