स उवाच मुदा विप्रा नाम्ना दंडकरोप्यहम् । सर्वपापसमायुक्तश्चोद्धारो मे कथं भवेत्
sa uvāca mudā viprā nāmnā daṃḍakaropyaham | sarvapāpasamāyuktaścoddhāro me kathaṃ bhavet
သူက ပြောသည်—“အို ဗြာဟ္မဏတို့၊ ကျွန်ုပ်လည်း ‘ဒဏ္ဍကရ’ ဟူသော အမည်ဖြင့် သိကြသည်။ အပြစ်အကုန်လုံးဖြင့် လေးလံနေသော်လည်း ကျွန်ုပ်၏ ကယ်တင်ခြင်းသည် မည်သို့ ဖြစ်နိုင်မည်နည်း”
