वर्जयेच्चैत्रमासे च यश्च गन्धानुलेपनम् शुक्तिं गन्धभृतां दत्त्वा विप्राय सितवाससी वारुणं पदमाप्नोति दृढव्रतमिदं स्मृतम् //

Transliteration

varjayeccaitramāse ca yaśca gandhānulepanam śuktiṃ gandhabhṛtāṃ dattvā viprāya sitavāsasī vāruṇaṃ padamāpnoti dṛḍhavratamidaṃ smṛtam //

Translation

ချိုင်တရလတွင် အနံ့သာလိမ်းခြယ်ခြင်းကို ရှောင်ကြဉ်သူသည်၊ အနံ့သာဖြည့်ထားသော ခရုခွံပုံး (conch-vessel) ကို အဖြူရောင်အဝတ်အထည်များနှင့်အတူ ဗြာဟ္မဏတစ်ဦးအား လှူဒါန်းလျှင် ဝရုဏ၏ အလောက/အဆင့်သို့ ရောက်ရှိသည်။ ဤကို ခိုင်မာတည်ကြည်သော ဝရတဟု မှတ်ယူကြသည်။
