अथवा कुज्जरं मत्तमेक एव चरन् वने । अनडूकुशं समारुहय नगरं गन्तुमिच्छसि,अथवा वनमें अकेले घूमते हुए तुम बिना अंकुशके ही मतवाले हाथीकी पीठपर बैठकर नगरमें जाना चाहते हो
athavā kuñjaraṁ mattam eka eva caran vane | anaḍūkuśaṁ samāruhya nagaraṁ gantum icchasi ||
«သို့မဟုတ် တောထဲ၌ တစ်ယောက်တည်း လှည့်လည်နေပြီး အင်ကူရှ် (ထိန်းချုပ်တံ) မပါဘဲ ရူးသွပ်နေသော ဆင်ပေါ် တက်စီးကာ မြို့ထဲသို့ တန်းတန်းမတ်မတ် ဝင်ချင်သလော?»
