तत् कर्म कृतवानद्य कथं निद्रां निषेवसे । वहाँ पहुँचते ही सैरन्ध्री बोली--आर्यपुत्र! मुझसे द्वेष रखनेवाले उस महापापी सेनापतिके
tat karma kṛtavān adya kathaṃ nidrāṃ niṣevase |
«ယနေ့ ထိုအမှုကို သင်လုပ်ပြီးပြီ—အခု သင်ဘယ်လို အိပ်ပျော်နိုင်သနည်း?» ဟု ထိုနေရာသို့ ရောက်သည်နှင့် စိုင်ရန်ဒြီက ပြောလေ၏— «အာရ്യပုတ্ৰ၊ ငါ့ကို မုန်းတီးသော အပြစ်ကြီးမားသည့် စစ်သူကြီးက ငါ့ကို အရှက်ရစေသည့် အပြုအမူကို ပြုခဲ့သော်လည်း သူသည် အသက်ရှင်နေသေး၏။ ထိုသို့ရှိရာတွင် သင်သည် ယနေ့ ဘယ်လို နိဒ္ဒရာကို ခံယူနိုင်သနည်း?»
