अश्वमेधमवाप्रोति त्रिरात्रोपोषितो नर: । गोसहस्रफलं विद्यात्‌ कुलं चैव समुद्धरेत्‌

Transliteration

aśvamedham avāpnoti trirātro-poṣito naraḥ | go-sahasra-phalaṁ vidyāt kulaṁ caiva samuddharet, nara-pate ||

Translation

ဃူလသ္တျက မိန့်တော်မူသည်– «အို မင်းကြီး၊ သုံးညတိုင် အစာရှောင်သောသူသည် အရှွမေဓ (Aśvamedha) ယဇ်၏ ကုသိုလ်ကို ရောက်ရှိသည်။ ထို့ပြင် နွားတစ်ထောင် လှူဒါန်းခြင်း၏ အကျိုးကိုလည်း ရရှိကြောင်း သိမှတ်လော့၊ ထိုသူသည် မိမိမျိုးရိုးတစ်လျှောက်ကို မြှင့်တင်ကယ်တင်၏»။
