न हि तेन मम क्षात्रा सुसूक्ष्ममपि किंचन । व्यलीकं कृतपूर्व वै प्राज्ञेनामितबुद्धिना,“अपरिमित बुद्धिवाले मेरे उन विद्वान भाईने पहले कभी कोई छोटा-सा भी अपराध नहीं किया है
na hi tena mama kṣātrā susūkṣmam api kiñcana | vyalīkaṃ kṛtapūrvaṃ vai prājñenāmitabuddhinā ||
ဝိုင်ရှမ္ပါယန မိန့်သည်– «အကန့်အသတ်မဲ့ ဉာဏ်ပညာရှိသော ထိုပညာရှိသည် ငါ့အပေါ်၌ အနည်းငယ်မျှပင် လိမ်လည်မှု သို့မဟုတ် အမှားအယွင်းကို ယခင်က မပြုဖူး» ဟုဆို၏။
वैशम्पायन उवाच
Moral credibility is grounded in consistent conduct: a truly wise person does not resort to even the smallest deceit. The verse highlights dharmic integrity—truthfulness and reliability—as the basis for trust.
The narrator Vaiśaṃpāyana reports a statement affirming the spotless past behavior of a certain wise individual, emphasizing that he has never previously wronged or deceived the speaker even slightly—thereby establishing that person’s trustworthiness in the unfolding episode.
