Sūrya’s Counsel to Karṇa on Kīrti and the Kuṇḍala
ब्रृहि कि ते करोम्यत्र साहाय्यं पुरुषर्षभ । ऐक्ष्वाको हास्मि ते ज्ञातिरिति रामस्तमब्रवीत्
brūhi kiṃ te karomy atra sāhāyyaṃ puruṣarṣabha | aikṣvāko 'ham asmi te jñātir iti rāmas tam abravīt ||
ရာမက သူ့အား မိန့်တော်မူသည်— «အို လူသူရဲကောင်းတို့အထဲမှ အကောင်းဆုံးသောသူ၊ ဤနေရာ၌ သင့်အား ငါ ဘာကူညီပေးရမည်နည်း။ ငါသည် အိက္ခ္ဝာကုဝంశမှ ဖြစ်၍ သင်၏ ဆွေမျိုးတော်ဖြစ်သဖြင့် မရှက်မကြောက် ပြောလော့»။ ဤစကားဖြင့် ရာမသည် ကူညီခြင်းကို အကျိုးပြုသက်သက်မဟုတ်ဘဲ ဆွေမျိုးသွေးသားနှင့် ဓမ္မတရားပေါ် အခြေခံသော တာဝန်အဖြစ် ထားရှိ하였다။
