Transliteration

sa tad rājā vacaḥ śrutvā vipriyaṃ dāruṇodayam | duḥkhārto hi bharataśreṣṭha na kiñcid vyājahāra ha ||

Translation

မာရ္ကဏ္ဍေယက ဆိုသည်—ထိုစကားသည် မနှစ်သက်ဖွယ်ကောင်း၍ အကျိုးဆက်ကြမ်းတမ်းမည်ဟု ကြိုတင်မြင်ရသဖြင့် မင်းဒဿရထသည် ဝမ်းနည်းခြင်းကြောင့် လုံးဝလွှမ်းမိုးခံရ၏။ အို ဘရတဝంశ၏ အကောင်းဆုံးသူရေ—မင်းသည် စကားတစ်ခွန်းမျှ မထွက်နိုင်ခဲ့။
