युधिछिर उवाच कस्मिन् राम: कुले जात: किंवीर्य: किम्पराक्रम: । रावण: कस्य पुत्रो वा कि वैरं तस्य तेन ह
yudhiṣṭhira uvāca: kasmin rāmaḥ kule jātaḥ? kiṃ-vīryaḥ? kim-parākramaḥ? rāvaṇaḥ kasya putro vā? kiṃ vairaṃ tasya tena ha?
ယုဓိဋ္ဌိရ မေးသည်— “ရာမသည် မည်သည့် မျိုးရိုးအဆက်အနွယ်၌ မွေးဖွားသနည်း။ သူ၏ အင်အားသည် မည်သို့ရှိသနည်း၊ သူ၏ သတ္တိဗလ၏ အတိုင်းအတာသည် မည်မျှနည်း။ ထို့ပြင် ရာဝဏ—သူသည် မည်သူ၏ သားနည်း။ ရာမနှင့် သူကြားတွင် ရန်ငြိုး မည်သို့ ဖြစ်ပေါ်လာသနည်း။”
