सच प्रिय: सखा तुभ्यं शिष्यश्व॒ तव पाण्डव: । “'चित्रसेन! तुम जाओ और दुर्योधनको उसके मन्त्रियोंसहित बाँधकर यहाँ ले आओ। युद्धमें तुम्हें भाइयोंसहित अर्जुनकी रक्षा करनी चाहिये; क्योंकि पाण्डुनन्दन अर्जुन तुम्हारे प्रिय सखा तथा शिष्य हैं ।। वचनाद्‌ देवराजस्य ततो<स्मीहागतो द्रुतम्‌

Transliteration

sa ca priyaḥ sakhā tubhyaṃ śiṣyaś ca tava pāṇḍavaḥ | “citraseṇa! tvaṃ yāhi, duryodhanaṃ sa-mantribhiḥ baddhvā iha ānaya | yuddhe tvaṃ bhrātṛbhiḥ sārdham arjunasya rakṣāṃ kartum arhasi; yasmāt pāṇḍunandano ’rjunas tava priyaḥ sakhā tathā śiṣyaḥ || vacanād devarājasya tato ’smi iha āgato drutam”

Translation

စိတ္တရစေနက ပြောသည်– «ထိုပाण्डဝသည် သင်တို့အတွက် ချစ်ခင်ရသောသူ—သင်တို့၏ အနီးကပ်မိတ်ဆွေဖြစ်သကဲ့သို့ သင်တို့၏ တပည့်လည်း ဖြစ်သည်။ ‘စိတ္တရစေန၊ သွားလော့—ဒုရ്യೋಧနကို သူ၏ အမတ်များနှင့်အတူ ချည်နှောင်၍ ဒီကို ခေါ်လာလော့။ စစ်ပွဲတွင် သင်တို့သည် အာర్జုန (ပাণ্ডု၏သား) ကို သူ၏ ညီအစ်ကိုများနှင့်အတူ ကာကွယ်ရမည်; အကြောင်းမူကား အာర్జုနသည် သင်တို့၏ ချစ်ခင်ရသော မိတ်ဆွေဖြစ်သကဲ့သို့ တပည့်လည်း ဖြစ်သည်’ ဟု ဒေဝမင်းက မိန့်တော်မူ၏။ ထိုအမိန့်ကို လိုက်နာ၍ ငါသည် ဒီကို အလျင်အမြန် ရောက်လာခဲ့သည်»။
