मातापितृपूजन-प्रधानधर्मः (Primacy of Filial Service) — Mārkaṇḍeya’s Account of the Vyādha’s Instruction
एवं भवतु गच्छेति तमुवाच पितामह: । स एवमुक्तस्तत्पादौ मूर्ध्ना स्पृश्य जगाम ह,तब ब्रह्माजीने उससे कहा--'ऐसा ही होगा। जाओ।” उनके ऐसा कहनेपर धुन्धुने मस्तक झुकाकर उनके चरणोंका स्पर्श किया और वहाँसे चला गया
evaṁ bhavatu gaccheti tam uvāca pitāmahaḥ | sa evam uktas tat-pādau mūrdhnā spṛśya jagāma ha ||
မာရ္ကဏ္ဍေယ မိန့်တော်မူသည်– အဘိုးကြီး (ဘြဟ္မာ) သည် သူ့အား «ဒီအတိုင်း ဖြစ်စေ။ သွားလော့» ဟု မိန့်တော်မူ၏။ ထိုသို့ မိန့်ကြားခံရသော ဓုန္ဓုသည် ခေါင်းငုံ့၍ ဘြဟ္မာ၏ ခြေတော်ကို ဦးခေါင်းဖြင့် ထိကပ်ကာ ရိုသေပြု၍ ထွက်ခွာသွား၏။
