Brāhmaṇas Follow into Exile and Śaunaka’s Instruction
अनुकम्पां हि भक्तेषु देवता हापि कुर्वते । विशेषतो ब्राह्म॒णेषु सदाचारावलम्बिषु,देवता भी अपने भक्तोंपर विशेषत: सदाचारपरायण ब्राह्मणोंपर तो अवश्य ही दया करते हैं
anukampāṃ hi bhakteṣu devatā hy api kurvate | viśeṣato brāhmaṇeṣu sadācārāvalambiṣu ||
နတ်တို့သည် မိမိတို့၏ ဘက်တော်သားများအပေါ် ကရုဏာပြုတတ်ကြ၏။ အထူးသဖြင့် သဒ္ဓါစရိုက်ကောင်းကို ထိန်းသိမ်း၍ ဓမ္မဝိနယကို အားထားနေသော ဗြာဟ္မဏတို့အပေါ် မလွဲမသွေ သနားကရုဏာ ပိုမိုပြုကြ၏။
वैशम्पायन उवाच
Divine favor is linked to devotion and ethical living: the gods are compassionate to devotees in general, and especially to those Brahmins who steadfastly uphold sadācāra (good conduct).
Vaiśampāyana, as narrator, states a general principle about how the gods respond to human beings—highlighting that devotion and disciplined conduct, particularly among Brahmins, attract divine compassion.
