Indradyumna Upākhyāna: On Kīrti, Smṛti, and Restoration
मार्कण्डेय उवाच शृणु राजन मया दृष्ट॑ यत् पुरा श्रुतमेव च । अनुभूतं च राजेन्द्र देवदेवप्रसादजम्,मार्कण्डेय बोले--भरतश्रेष्ठ राजन! मैंने देवाधिदेव भगवान् बालमुकुन्दकी कृपासे पूर्वकालमें, निकृष्ट कलिकालके प्राप्त होनेपर सम्पूर्ण लोकोंके भावी वृत्तान्तके विषयमें जो कुछ देखा-सुना या अनुभव किया है, वह बताता हूँ, सुनो और समझो
Mārkaṇḍeya uvāca: śṛṇu rājan mayā dṛṣṭaṃ yat purā śrutam eva ca | anubhūtaṃ ca rājendra devadeva-prasāda-jam ||
မာရ္ကဏ္ဍေယက ပြောသည်– «နားထောင်ပါ၊ အရှင်မင်းကြီး။ အတိတ်ကာလ၌ ငါမြင်ခဲ့သမျှ၊ ရှေးအခါက ကြားခဲ့သမျှနှင့် ငါကိုယ်တိုင် ကြုံတွေ့ခံစားခဲ့သမျှ—နတ်တို့၏နတ်တော်၏ ကရုဏာတော်ကြောင့် ရရှိလာသောအရာတို့ကို—ယခု ငါပြောပြမည်။ သေချာစွာ နားထောင်၍ နားလည်ပါ»။
