Arrogance, Boons, and Nimitta
वालुकामुष्टिमनिशं भागीरथ्यां व्यसर्जयत् । सेतुमभ्यारभच्छक्रो यवक्रीतं निदर्शयन्,वे निरन्तर एक-एक मुट्ठी बालू गंगाजीमें छोड़ते थे और इस प्रकार उन्होंने यवक्रीतको दिखाकर पुल बाँधनेका कार्य आरम्भ कर दिया
vālukā-muṣṭim aniśaṃ bhāgīrathyāṃ vyasarjayat | setum abhyārabhac chakro yavakrītaṃ nidarśayan ||
သက္ကရာ (အိန္ဒြာ) သည် မနားမနေ သဲကို လက်တစ်ဆုပ်ပြီးတစ်ဆုပ် ဘာဂီရသီ (ဂင်္ဂါ) ထဲသို့ ပစ်ချလေ၏။ ထိုသို့ ယဝကရိတ္တကို ဥပမာအဖြစ် ပြသကာ၊ တံတား (သေတု) တည်ဆောက်ရာ အလုပ်ကို စတင်လေသည်။ ဤအဖြစ်အပျက်သည် ဆုံးဖြတ်ချက်နှင့် ထိုက်တန်သော နမူနာတစ်ရပ်၏ လမ်းညွှန်မှုအောက်တွင် သေးငယ်သော်လည်း ထပ်ခါထပ်ခါ ပြုလုပ်သော လုပ်ရပ်များက ကြီးမားသော အလုပ်ကို စတင်စေနိုင်ကြောင်း ထင်ရှားစေသည်။
