चिच्छेद निशितैर्भल्लैर्बाहून् परिघसंनिभान् । सहस्नसम्मितान् राजन् प्रगृह्म रुचिरं धनु:,और कालके वशीभूत हुए कार्तवीर्य अर्जनपर धावा बोल दिया। शत्रुवीरोंका संहार करनेवाले भृगुनन्दन परशुरामजीने अपना सुन्दर धनुष ले युद्धमें महान् पराक्रम दिखाकर पैने बाणोंद्वारा उसकी परिघसदृश सहस्र भुजाओंको काट डाला
ciccheda niśitair bhallair bāhūn parighasaṁnibhān | sahasra-sammitān rājan pragṛhya ruciraṁ dhanuḥ ||
အကෘတဝ္ရဏက ပြောသည်– «အရှင်ဘုရင်၊ ရာမ (ပရသုရာမ) သည် တောက်ပလှသော လေးကို ကိုင်ယူ၍ ချွန်ထက်သော ဘ္ဟလ္လ မြားများဖြင့် သံတုတ်ကဲ့သို့ အင်အားကြီးသော လက်များကို—အရေအတွက်က တစ်ထောင်နှင့်တူသကဲ့သို့—ဖြတ်တောက်ပစ်하였다»။
