हिरण्यपुरवर्णनम्
Description of Hiraṇyapura and the Nivātakavacas
यहाँ नागराज ऐरावत, वामन, कुमुद और अंजन नामक श्रेष्ठ गज सुप्रतीकके वंशमें उत्पन्न हुए हैं ।।
iha nāgarāja airāvataḥ vāmano kumudaś cāñjana-nāmakaś ca śreṣṭhā gajāḥ supratīkasya vaṃśe utpannāḥ santi | paśya yady atra te kaścid rocete guṇato varaḥ | varayiṣyāmi taṃ gatvā yatnam āsthāya mātale mātale |
စုပရတီက၏ မျိုးရိုး၌ အဲရာဝတ၊ ဝါမန၊ ကုမုဒ နှင့် အဉ္ဇနဟု အမည်ရသော အထူးမြတ်သော ဆင်တို့ မွေးဖွားလာကြ၏။ «မာတလီရေ—ကြည့်လော့။ ဤတို့အနက် ဂုဏ်သတ္တိအားဖြင့် ထူးချွန်၍ သင်နှစ်သက်သော တစ်ကောင်ရှိလျှင်၊ ငါသွား၍ အားထုတ်ကာ သေချာစွာ ရွေးယူပေးမည်» ဟု ဆို၏။
