अध्याय ८ — शल्यस्य सत्कारः, वरदानं, पाण्डवसमागमश्च (Śalya’s Reception, the Boon, and Meeting the Pāṇḍavas)
आजगाम सभामन्यां देवावसथवर्चसम् | स तत्र विषयैर्युक्त: कल्याणैरतिमानुषै:
ājagāma sabhām anyāṃ devāvasathavarcasaṃ | sa tatra viṣayair yuktaḥ kalyāṇair atimānuṣaiḥ ||
ဝိုင်ရှမ္ပါယန မိန့်ကြားသည်– ထို့နောက် သူသည် နတ်တို့၏ နေရာတော်ကဲ့သို့ တောက်ပသော အခြားအစည်းအဝေးခန်းမတစ်ခုသို့ ရောက်လာ၏။ ထိုနေရာ၌ မင်္ဂလာအလှဆင်ပစ္စည်းများဖြင့် ပြည့်စုံစွာ တပ်ဆင်ထားသည်ကို တွေ့ရပြီး—သန့်ရှင်းသိမ်မွေ့၍ အလွန်အမင်း လှပကာ လူ့လက်ရာသာမန်ကို ကျော်လွန်သကဲ့သို့ ဖြစ်၏။ ၎င်းသည် မင်းစိုးရာဇာ၏ စည်းကမ်းတကျမှု၊ စည်းစိမ်ချမ်းသာမှုနှင့် ယဉ်ကျေးသိမ်မွေ့သော အာဏာကို ထင်ဟပ်စေကာ မကြာမီ လာမည့် နိုင်ငံရေးဆုံးဖြတ်ချက်များ၏ နောက်ခံဘောင်ကို ချမှတ်ပေးနေ၏။
