Drupada’s Instruction to the Purohita for the Kaurava Embassy (द्रुपदोपदेशः दूतप्रेषणम्)
कृपालुषु परिक्लेशान् पाण्डवीयान् प्रकीर्तयन् । वृद्धेषु कुलधर्म च ब्रुवन् पूर्वरनुछितम्
kṛpāluṣu parikleśān pāṇḍavīyān prakīrtayan | vṛddheṣu kuladharmaṃ ca bruvan pūrvaranucitam ||
ဒြုပဒ မင်းသည် ပဏ္ဍဝတို့ ခံခဲ့ရသော ဆင်းရဲဒုက္ခများကို—ကရုဏာစိတ်ရှိသောသူတို့အကြောင်း—ဖော်ပြ၍ ပြောဆိုလေ၏။ ထို့ပြင် အဘိုးအိုများရှေ့တွင်လည်း ရှေးကတည်းက လိုက်နာလာသော မျိုးရိုးဓမ္မနှင့် မျိုးဆက်တာဝန်ကို ထုံးတမ်းနှင့်ကိုက်ညီစွာ ဟောကြားလေ၏။ ထိုသို့ဖြင့် လက်ရှိအရေးအခင်းကို အမွေဆက်ခံလာသော စံနှုန်းများအတွင်း ထည့်သွင်းကာ အကြီးအကဲနှင့် ထုံးတမ်း၏ သီလအာဏာကို အခြေခံ၍ လှုံ့ဆော်လေ၏။
