Udyoga-parva Adhyāya 50 — Dhṛtarāṣṭra’s Appraisal of Bhīmasena (भीमसेनभयवर्णनम्)
निष्कर्णामायसी स्थूलां सुपार्श्वा काउ्चनीं गदाम् | शतघ्नीं शतनिर्हादां कथं शक्ष्यन्ति मे सुता:
niṣkarṇāmāyasīṁ sthūlāṁ supārśvāṁ kāñcanīṁ gadām | śataghnīṁ śatanirghādāṁ kathaṁ śakṣyanti me sutāḥ ||
ဓృతရာෂ္ဌရက ပြောသည်– «သံဖြင့်ပြုလုပ်ထား၍ ခိုင်မာလေးလံကာ ဘေးဖက်များညီညာသင့်တော်ပြီး ရွှေဖြင့်အလှဆင်ထားသော ထိုဂဒါ၏ ထိုးနှက်သံသည် မိုးကြိုးပစ်သကဲ့သို့ ထပ်တလဲလဲ မြည်ဟည်းကာ တစ်ချက်တည်းဖြင့် ရာချီကို လဲကျစေနိုင်သည်။ ငါ့သားတို့သည် ထိုထိုးနှက်မှုကို မည်သို့ ခံနိုင်ကြမည်နည်း»။
