Drupada’s Counsel on Conciliation and Alliance Mobilization
आनीयतां बृहन्तश्न सेनाबिन्दुश्न पार्थिव: । सेनजित् प्रतिविन्ध्यश्व चित्रवर्मा सुवास्तुक:
ānīyatāṁ bṛhantaś ca senābinduś ca pārthivaḥ | senajit prativindhyaśva citravarmā suvāstukaḥ ||
ဒြုပဒမင်းက ဆိုသည်– «ဘృဟန္တမင်းနှင့် စေနာဗိန္ဒုမင်းတို့ကို ဤနေရာသို့ ခေါ်ဆောင်လာကြစေ။ ထို့အပြင် စေနဇိတ၊ ပရတိဝိန္ဓျအશ્વ၊ စိတ္ရဝರ್ಮာ နှင့် သုဝာသ္တုက တို့လည်း ပါစေ»။
दुपद उवाच
Before a major conflict, a righteous ruler should act with foresight: gather counsel, secure alliances, and organize support. The verse highlights dharmic prudence—preparation and collective responsibility rather than impulsive action.
Drupada issues an order to summon several named kings/allies. This reflects the mobilization and coordination of forces and supporters during the Udyoga Parva, as the political situation moves toward open war.
