अपनीतं सुनीतेन यो<र्थ प्रत्यानिनीषते । मतिमास्थाय सुदृढां तदकापुरुषव्रतम्,जो नष्ट हुए धनको स्थिर बुद्धिका आश्रय ले अच्छी नीतिसे पुनः लौटा लानेकी इच्छा करता है, वह वीर पुरुषोंका-सा आचरण करता है
apanītaṃ sunītena yo 'rthaṃ pratyāniniṣate | matim āsthāya sudṛḍhāṃ tad akā-puruṣa-vratam ||
ဝိဒုရက ဆိုသည်မှာ—မိမိ၏ ဥစ္စာပျောက်ဆုံးသွားသော်လည်း ခိုင်မာတည်ငြိမ်သော ဉာဏ်ကို အခြေခံကာ ကောင်းမွန်သော နည်းလမ်းနှင့် မှန်ကန်သော အကျင့်ဖြင့် ပြန်လည်ရယူလိုဟန်တည်သူသည် စစ်သူရဲကောင်းတို့၏ သစ္စာဝတ္တရားနှင့် တူသော အကျင့်ကို လိုက်နာသူ ဖြစ်၏။
