उद्योगपर्व — अध्याय 33: धृतराष्ट्र-विदुर संवादः (विदुरनीतिः)
अनुबन्धानपेक्षेत सानुबन्धेषु कर्मसु । सम्प्रधार्य च कुर्वीत न वेगेन समाचरेत्,किसी प्रयोजनसे किये गये कर्मोमें पहले प्रयोजनको समझ लेना चाहिये। खूब सोच- विचारकर काम करना चाहिये, जल्दबाजीसे किसी कामका आरम्भ नहीं करना चाहिये
anubandhān apekṣeta sānubandheṣu karmasu | sampradhārya ca kurvīta na vegena samācaret ||
ဗိဒုရက အကြံပေးသည်—မည်သည့် လုပ်ငန်းမဆို စတင်မီ ၎င်း၏ အကျိုးဆက်နှင့် ဆက်စပ်လာမည့် ရလဒ်များကို အရင် စဉ်းစားသင့်သည်။ ကောင်းကောင်း ချိန်ဆပြီးမှ လုပ်ဆောင်ရမည်၊ အလျင်အမြန် သို့မဟုတ် အရှိန်အဟုန်ကြောင့် အလုပ်ကို မစတင်သင့်။
