जानासि त्वं संजय सर्वमेतद्‌ द्यूते वाक्यं गहमिवं यथोक्तम्‌ । स्वयं त्वहं प्रार्थये तत्र गन्तुं समाधातु कार्यमेतद्‌ विपन्नम्‌,संजय! (कहाँतक गिनाऊँ,) जूएके समय जितने और जैसे निन्दनीय वचन कहे गये थे, वे सब तुम्हें ज्ञात हैं, तथापि इस बिगड़े हुए कार्यको बनानेके लिये मैं स्वयं हस्तिनापुर चलना चाहता हूँ

Transliteration

jānāsi tvaṁ sañjaya sarvam etad dyūte vākyaṁ gṛham ivaṁ yathoktam | svayaṁ tv ahaṁ prārthaye tatra gantuṁ samādhātuṁ kāryam etad vipannam, sañjaya ||

Translation

«စဉ္ဇယ၊ လောင်းကစားကာလ၌ ပြောခဲ့သော စကားများကို—ပြောခဲ့သကဲ့သို့ပင် ကြမ်းတမ်း၍ အပြစ်တင်ထိုက်သော စကားများကို—သင်အားလုံး သိပြီးသားဖြစ်သည်။ သို့သော်လည်း ဤပျက်စီးသွားသော အမှုကို ပြန်လည်တည့်မတ်စေရန် ငါကိုယ်တိုင် ထိုနေရာသို့ သွားလိုသည်၊ စဉ္ဇယ»
