अश्वृत्थामा शान्तनव: सैन्धवो5थ जयद्रथ: । दाक्षिणात्या: प्रतीच्याश्न पर्वतीयाश्व ये नृपा:
Vaiśampāyana uvāca: Aśvatthāmā Śāntanavaḥ Saindhavo 'tha Jayadrathaḥ | Dākṣiṇātyāḥ pratīcyāś ca parvatīyāś ca ye nṛpāḥ ||
ဝိုင်ရှမ္ပါယန မိန့်တော်မူသည်– အရှွတ္ထာမာ၊ ရှာန္တနဝ (ဘီရှ္မ)၊ စိုင်န္ဓဝ (ဇယဒြထ) နှင့် ဇယဒြထတို့၊ ထို့ပြင် တောင်ပိုင်း၊ အနောက်ပိုင်းနှင့် တောင်တန်းဒေသတို့၏ မင်းများပါဝင်၍—မင်းတော်တို့သည် မိမိမိမိ၏ တပ်ဖွဲ့များနှင့်အတူ စစ်တန်းစီ၍ ထွက်ခွာကာ မဟာရထီ ဘီရှ္မကို အရပ်လေးမျက်နှာမှ ဝိုင်းရံလျက် ဒုတိယ စစ်တပ်ခွဲအဖြစ် တပ်စည်းတကျ ချီတက်하였다။
