भीष्म–रामसंयुगनिवृत्तिः
Bhishma and Rama: Restraint and Withdrawal in the Engagement
तानुवाच ततः कन्या तपोवृद्धानृषींस्तदा । निराकृतास्मि भीष्मेण भ्रंशिता पतिधर्मत:ः
tān uvāca tataḥ kanyā tapovṛddhān ṛṣīṁs tadā | nirākṛtāsmi bhīṣmeṇa bhraṁśitā patidharmataḥ ||
ထို့နောက် မိန်းကလေးသည် တပဿာဖြင့် ရင့်ကျက်သော ရှင်ရသေ့ကြီးများအား ပြောလေ၏— «ဘီရှ္မက ငါ့ကို ပယ်ချခဲ့သည်။ ငါသည် ဇနီး၏ ဓမ္မမှ—ခင်ပွန်းကို ရရှိခြင်းနှင့် ထိုနောက်လိုက်လာသော သစ္စာရှိစွာ ပြုစုဝတ်ပြုရမည့် တာဝန်တို့မှ—လုံးဝ ခွဲထုတ်ခံရပြီ»။
