को जातु परभावां हि नारीं व्यालीमिव स्थिताम् | वासयेत गृहे जानन् स्त्रीणां दोषो महात्यय:,“दूसरेके प्रति अनुराग रखनेवाली नारी सर्पिणीके समान भयंकर होती है। कौन ऐसा पुरुष होगा, जो जान-बूझकर उसे कभी भी अपने घरमें स्थान देगा; क्योंकि स्त्रियोंका (परपुरुषमें अनुरागरूप) दोष महान् अनर्थका कारण होता है
ko jātu parabhāvāṁ hi nārīṁ vyālīm iva sthitām | vāsayet gṛhe jānan strīṇāṁ doṣo mahātyayaḥ ||
«အခြားယောက်ျားကို စိတ်ကပ်နေသော မိန်းမကို—မြွေမကဲ့သို့ ကြောက်မက်ဖွယ်—သိသိသာသာနဲ့ မိမိအိမ်တွင် ဘယ်သူက နေရာပေးမည်နည်း။ အကြောင်းမူ မိန်းမတို့၏ အပြစ်—အခြားယောက်ျားကို ချစ်ခင်ကပ်ငြိခြင်း—သည် မဟာဘေးအန္တရာယ်၏ အကြောင်းရင်း ဖြစ်လာသည်»။
