अम्बोवाच भगवउ्शरणं त्वाद्य प्रपन्नास्मि महाव्रतम् । शोकपड्कार्णवान्मग्नां घोरादुद्धर मां विभो,अम्बा बोली--भगवन्! आप महान् व्रतधारी हैं। आज मैं आपकी शरणमें आयी हूँ। प्रभो! इस भयंकर शोकसागरमें डूबनेसे मुझे बचाइये
Ambovāca: bhagavan śaraṇaṁ tvādya prapannāsmi mahāvratam | śoka-ṣaṭkārṇavān magnāṁ ghorād uddhara māṁ vibho ||
အမ္ဘာ မိန့်သည်– «အရှင်မြတ်ဘုရား၊ သင်သည် မဟာဝရတကို တည်ကြည်စွာ ထိန်းသိမ်းသူ ဖြစ်ပါသည်။ ယနေ့ ငါသည် သင်၏ အရိပ်အာဝါသသို့ ခိုလှုံလာပါ၏။ အာဏာရှင်ကြီး၊ ငါသည် ကြောက်မက်ဖွယ် ဝမ်းနည်းမှု သမုဒ္ဒရာထဲ၌ နစ်မြုပ်နေပါသည်—ကျေးဇူးပြု၍ ငါ့ကို ဆွဲထုတ်ကာ ကယ်တင်ပါ»။
