उलूकस्य तु तद् वाक््यं पापं दारुणमीरितम् | श्र॒ुत्वा विचुक्षुभे पार्थो ललाटं चाप्यमार्जयत्,उलूकके कहे हुए उस पापपूर्ण दारुण वचनको सुनकर कुन्तीपुत्र अर्जुनको बड़ा क्षोभ हुआ। उन्होंने हाथसे ललाटका पसीना पोंछा
ulūkasya tu tad vākyaṃ pāpaṃ dāruṇam īritam | śrutvā vicukṣubhe pārtho lalāṭaṃ cāpy amārjayat ||
သဉ္ဇယက ပြောသည်—ဦလူက၏ အပြစ်မကင်း၍ ကြမ်းတမ်းသော စကားကို ကြားသော် ပಾರ್ಥ (အာర్జုန) သည် အတွင်းစိတ်ထဲ၌ ပြင်းထန်စွာ လှုပ်ရှားကာ စိတ်မတည်မငြိမ် ဖြစ်သွား၏။ ထိုစကားတို့ကြောင့် ဖြစ်ပေါ်လာသော အတွင်းပူလောင်မှုကို ပြသသကဲ့သို့ သူသည် နဖူးပေါ်မှ ချွေးကို လက်ဖြင့် သုတ်လိုက်၏။
