Agni-hymn, discovery of Indra, and the Nahuṣa threat
एवं स्तुतो हव्यवाट् स भगवान् कविरुत्तम: । बृहस्पतिमथोवाच प्रीतिमान् वाक्यमुत्तमम् | दर्शयिष्यामि ते शक्रं सत्यमेतद् ब्रवीमि ते,इस प्रकार स्तुति की जानेपर हविष्य वहन करनेवाले श्रेष्ठ एवं सर्वज्ञ भगवान् अग्निदेव प्रसन्न होकर बृहस्पतिसे यह उत्तम वचन बोले--'ब्रह्मन! मैं आपको इन्द्रका दर्शन कराऊँगा, यह मैं आपसे सत्य कह रहा हूँ”
evaṁ stuto havyavāṭ sa bhagavān kavir uttamaḥ | bṛhaspatim athovāca prītimān vākyam uttamam | darśayiṣyāmi te śakraṁ satyam etad bravīmi te ||
ဤသို့ ချီးမွမ်းခံရသဖြင့် ဟဝျ (ပူဇော်သကာ) ကို သယ်ဆောင်သူ၊ ဘုရားသခင်အဂ္ဂနိ—အမြတ်ဆုံးသော ရှင်ကဝိ—နှစ်သက်ပျော်ရွှင်လာကာ ဗြဟ္စပတိအား အထူးကောင်းမွန်သော စကားကို မိန့်တော်မူ၏။ «အို ဗြာဟ္မဏာ! သင်အား သက္ကရ (အိန္ဒြာ) ကို မြင်တွေ့စေမည်။ ဤသည်ကို သင့်အား အမှန်တကယ် ပြောကြားသည်» ဟု။
