The verse models responsible narration and ethical seriousness: Sañjaya reports what he has directly witnessed, emphasizing clarity and accountability in speech at a time when decisions about peace and war carry heavy dharmic consequences.
Sañjaya tells Kṛṣṇa (Acyuta) that he saw Yudhiṣṭhira, accompanied by his brothers, climbing up to a grand thousand-pillared palace located at the far end of their own precinct—an image suggesting a purposeful movement toward counsel, deliberation, or a significant meeting.
