समुद्रं च समासाद्य बहुयोजनविस्तृतम् । आससाद महाद्वीपं नानाद्रुमलतावृतम्
samudraṃ ca samāsādya bahuyojanavistṛtam | āsasāda mahādvīpaṃ nānādrumalatāvṛtam ||
«ယောဇနများစွာအထိ ကျယ်ပြန့်သော သမုဒ္ဒရာသို့ ရောက်လျှင်၊ ထို့နောက် သစ်ပင်နှင့် လျားပင် အမျိုးမျိုးဖြင့် ဖုံးလွှမ်းလှပသော မဟာဒွီပ တစ်ခုသို့ ရောက်ရှိလေသည်»။
शल्य उवाच
The verse highlights steadfast effort in the service of a larger purpose: one who is committed to a duty or mission continues through vast distances and obstacles, suggesting that dharmic resolve is measured by perseverance rather than comfort.
A traveler (referred to here by feminine verb-forms) reaches a vast ocean and then enters a great island/continent richly covered with diverse trees and vines, marking a transition from arduous travel to arrival in a new, fertile region.
