यो होवमविनीतेन रमते पुत्र नप्तृणा । अनुत्थानवता चापि दुर्विनीतेन दुर्धिया
yo hovam avinītena ramate putra naptṛṇā | anutthānavatā cāpi durvinītena durdhiyā | sukhaṃ naiveha nāmutra labhante puruṣādhamāḥ |
သားရေ—စည်းကမ်းနှင့် သင်ကြားမှုကင်းမဲ့သော သား သို့မဟုတ် မြေးကို နှစ်သက်ပျော်ရွှင်နေသူ၊ အလုပ်မထွက်၊ အကျင့်မကောင်း၊ ဉာဏ်မမှန်သူတို့ကို အားထားနေသူသည် ဤလောက၌လည်း မနက်ဖြန်လောက၌လည်း ပျော်ရွှင်မှု မရနိုင်။ ထိုကဲ့သို့ အောက်တန်းကျသောသူတို့သည် မသင့်လျော်သော သားမြေးများကို ချစ်ခင်ကပ်လျက်၊ လောကီကောင်းကျိုးလည်း မရ၊ ပရလောကကောင်းကျိုးလည်း မရကြ။ အကြောင်းမူကား ထိုမျိုးဆက်များသည် လုပ်သင့်လုပ်ထိုက်သော တာဝန်ကို မထမ်းဆောင်ကြဘဲ၊ လုပ်လျှင်လည်း အပြစ်တင်ရမည့် အလုပ်များကိုသာ လုပ်ကြသဖြင့် ဖြစ်သည်။
