सन्ति वै सिन्धुराजस्य संतुष्टा न तथा जना: | दौर्बल्यादासते मूढा व्यसनौघप्रतीक्षिण:

Transliteration

santi vai sindhurājasya santuṣṭā na tathā janāḥ | daurbalyād āsate mūḍhā vyasanaugha-pratīkṣiṇaḥ ||

Translation

စင်ဓုမင်း၏ ပြည်သူတို့သည် သူ့အပေါ် အမှန်တကယ် မကျေနပ်ကြ။ သို့ရာတွင် သင့်အားနည်းမှုကြောင့် သူတို့သည် ဘာလုပ်ရမည်မသိ မူးမောကာ လှုပ်ရှားမလုပ်ဘဲ ထိုင်နေကြပြီး စင်ဓုမင်းအပေါ် ဘေးအန္တရာယ်ကြီးများ ကျရောက်လာမည့်အချိန်ကိုသာ စောင့်ကြည့်နေကြသည်—သူ့ဒုက္ခကို စောင့်မျှော်နေသကဲ့သို့ ဖြစ်နေသည်။
