Udyoga Parva Adhyaya 133 — A Mother’s Counsel to Saṃjaya
यो हि तेजो यथाशक्ति न दर्शयति विक्रमात् । क्षत्रियो जीविताकाडुक्षी स्तेन इत्येव तं विदु:
yo hi tejo yathāśakti na darśayati vikramāt | kṣatriyo jīvitākāṅkṣī stena ity eva taṃ viduḥ ||
က்ஂရှတ်ရိယတစ်ဦးသည် မိမိအသက်ကို ထိန်းသိမ်းလိုသော လောဘကြောင့် မိမိစွမ်းအားအတိုင်း ရဲရင့်မှုကို မပြသဘဲ၊ သတ္တိပြုလုပ်ရပ်များဖြင့် မိမိ၏ စစ်တေဇကို မထင်ရှားစေပါက လူတို့က ထိုသူကို “သူခိုး” ဟုပင် သိမြင်ကြသည်။
