Udyoga Parva — Gandhārī’s Counsel to Duryodhana
सह मात्रा प्रदग्धुं तान् बालकान् वारणावते । आस्थित: परमं यत्नं न समृद्धं च तत् तव
saha mātrā pradagdhuṃ tān bālakān vāraṇāvate | āsthitaḥ paramaṃ yatnaṃ na samṛddhaṃ ca tat tava ||
ဝိုင်ရှမ္ပါယနက ပြောသည်– “ဝါရဏာဝတမြို့၌ သင်သည် ထိုကလေးများ—ပாண்டဝတို့—ကို မိခင်နှင့်အတူ မီးရှို့ဖျက်ဆီးရန် အလွန်အမင်း ကြိုးပမ်းခဲ့သည်။ သို့သော် သင်၏ ထိုအစီအစဉ်သည် မအောင်မြင်ခဲ့။”
