वक्तुमिच्छामि तु सखे यथा जानासि मां पुरा । न तथा वित्तवानस्मि क्षीणं वित्तं च मे सखे

Transliteration

vaktum icchāmi tu sakhe yathā jānāsi māṃ purā | na tathā vittavān asmi kṣīṇaṃ vittaṃ ca me sakhe ||

Translation

နာရဒ မုနိက ပြောသည်– «မိတ်ဆွေ၊ ငါ ပြောချင်သေးသော အရာတစ်ခု ရှိသည်။ မင်းက အရင်က ငါ့ကို ငွေကြေးကြွယ်ဝသူဟု သိခဲ့သကဲ့သို့ ငါသည် ယခု မဟုတ်တော့။ မိတ်ဆွေ၊ ငါ့အရင်းအမြစ်များသည် ယနေ့ခေတ်တွင် လျော့နည်းသွားပြီ»။
