सुहृद् भवान् मम मतः सुहृदां च मत: सुहृत् । ईप्सितेनाभिलाषेण योक्तव्यो विभवे सति
suhṛd bhavān mama mataḥ suhṛdāṃ ca mataḥ suhṛt | īpsitenābhilāṣeṇa yoktavyo vibhave sati |
နာရဒ မုနိက မိန့်တော်မူသည်– «သင်သည် ငါ့အမြင်၌ မိတ်ဆွေစစ်တစ်ယောက် ဖြစ်ပြီး၊ ငါ့မိတ်ဆွေတို့၏ အမြင်၌လည်း မိတ်ဆွေစစ်တစ်ယောက် ဖြစ်သည်။ မိတ်ဆွေတို့၏ တာဝန်ဟူသည်– ကိုယ်၌ အင်အားအရင်းအမြစ်နှင့် စည်းစိမ်ရှိသော် မိတ်ဆွေ၏ ချစ်မြတ်နိုးသည့် ဆန္ဒနှင့် လိုလားသည့် ရည်မှန်းချက်ကို ပြည့်စုံစေရန် ထိုအရာတို့ကို အသုံးချရမည်»။
