अमग्बरीष उवाच सागरान्तां महीं कृत्स्नामनुशास्य यथाविधि । चातुर्वण्यें यथाशास्त्र प्रवृत्ती धर्मकाम्यया

Transliteration

ambarīṣa uvāca | sāgarāntāṃ mahīṃ kṛtsnām anuśāsya yathāvidhi | cāturvarṇye yathāśāstraṃ pravṛttiṃ dharmakāmyayā ||

Translation

အမ္ဗရီရှက ပြောသည်– «အို နတ်ဘုရင်၊ သမုဒ္ဒရာကန့်သတ်ထားသော မြေကြီးတစ်လုံးလုံးကို စည်းကမ်းတကျ အုပ်ချုပ်ကာ ကာကွယ်စောင့်ရှောက်ခဲ့ပါသည်။ သာသနာစာတမ်း (śāstra) များ၏ အမိန့်အတိုင်း၊ ဓမ္မကို ထိန်းသိမ်းလိုသော ဆန္ဒဖြင့် လူမှုအတန်းအစား လေးရပ်၏ တာဝန်များတွင် အမြဲတမ်း ပါဝင်ဆောင်ရွက်ခဲ့ပါသည်»။
