Rules for Dharmic Victory in Kṣatriya Engagement
इषुर्लिप्तो न कर्णी स्यादसतामेतदायुधम् । यथार्थमेव योद्धव्यं न क्रुद्धयेत जिघांसत:
iṣur lipto na karṇī syād asatām etad āyudham | yathārtham eva yoddhavyaṃ na kruddhyet jighāṃsataḥ ||
ဘီရှ္မက ဆိုသည်— «စစ်ပွဲမှာ အဆိပ်လိမ်းမြားများ၊ သို့မဟုတ် ချွန်ထက်ကပ်ကပ် (ကဏ္ဏီ) မြားများကို မသုံးသင့်။ အဲဒါတွေက မကောင်းသူတို့ရဲ့ လက်နက်တွေ ဖြစ်တယ်။ တိုက်ခိုက်ခြင်းကို မှန်ကန်သန့်ရှင်းတဲ့ နည်းလမ်းနဲ့ပဲ လုပ်ရမည်။ စစ်မြေပြင်မှာ မင်းကို သတ်ချင်သူရှိလာလျှင်လည်း ဒေါသနဲ့ မလှုပ်ရှားရ; ဓမ္မအတွင်းမှာပဲ သင့်တော်သလို တုံ့ပြန်ရမည်။»
