Treasury Security, Protection of Informants, and the Kalakavṛkṣīya Exemplum (Śānti Parva 83)
हित॑ तद्वचनं श्रुत्वा कौसल्यो5प्यजयन्महीम् । तथा च कृतवान् राजा यथोक्त तेन भारत
hitaṃ tad-vacanaṃ śrutvā kausalyo 'py ajayan mahīm | tathā ca kṛtavān rājā yathoktaṃ tena bhārata ||
ဘီရှ္မက ပြောသည်– «အကျိုးရှိသော ထိုအကြံဉာဏ်ကို ကြားနာပြီးနောက် ကောသလ မင်းကြီးလည်း မြေကြီးတစ်လွှားကို အောင်နိုင်ခဲ့၏။ အို ဘာရတ၊ မင်းကြီးသည် ထိုသူ ပြောသကဲ့သို့ တိတိကျကျ လိုက်နာဆောင်ရွက်ခဲ့သောကြောင့်ပင်—ကောင်းမြတ်သော အကြံဉာဏ်ကို နားထောင်၍ သစ္စာရှိစွာ အကောင်အထည်ဖော်ခြင်းသည် အုပ်ချုပ်ရေး၌ အောင်မြင်မှုနှင့် တည်ငြိမ်မှုကို ဆောင်ကြဉ်းကြောင်းကို ပြသ၏»။
